Porsha and Maria the Creators...

Trillions and trillions of years ago, there was but one goddess, and her name was Porsha. You see, Porsha spent her days worrying. What was she worrying about, you ask? Well, at this time period, the sky was closed in, and the Earth only had a limited amount of oxygen. Even though she was a goddess, she has to breathe. Eventually, the oxygen supply ran out. Porsha flew into a panic. She used her powers to fly up to the very top of Earth, until she reached the great sky dome. She desperately started pounding it. She was about to lose all hope, but she looked around, and luckily she saw a pair of scissors laying on the ground. She had great eyesight. She flew down to get them. After she grasped them, she flew back up to the sky dome and started poking holes.

Hours later, she was done. She breathed in greatly. "Mmmm", she said. "I never have to worry again about each breath I take. Now what should I do to take up my time?" She wandered the Earth for years and years. Finally, she realized the emotion she was experiencing. "I'm very lonely", she said sadly. "I need a mate to be with. I need someone to keep me company. I mean look at me! I'm talking to myself!" She grabbed a piece of her magical paper and her magical ink pen and started drawing.

3 days later she had made a beautiful god, which she gave the name Santiago. She realized that the lowly Earth would not be good enough for her and her mate. So she flew up to the sky dome, which now had holes in it that people call stars, and high above it she started creating the Heavens. With a wave of her hand, what lay before her made her gasp. It was more beautiful and luxurious then she'd ever imagined!!! Santiago was finally able to be created. She flew back to Earth, grabbed the paper, and flew to the Heavens. She muttered the magical spell, and leaned down to blow the breath of life onto the paper. Santiago stepped into the Heavens. Porsha was not lonely anymore.

One year later, she felt the biggest pain imaginable. She called out to Santiago, and he rushed over. She told him how she felt. Santiago had great knowledge, and he told her that she was giving birth to twins. She gave birth to a girl and a boy. She named the baby girl Maria, and the baby boy Mario. Maria was beautiful from the start, and she was also very, very sweet. On the other hand, Mario was very, very bitter. Porsha could sense that he would be evil from the start, and she was very worried.

As the twins grew, Santiago was very tough on Mario. He ended up hating his own father. Mario plotted against him his whole life. When the twins turned 18 exactly, Mario leapt at his father, and before Porsha and Maria could stop him, he plunged a long sword into his father's heart. Porsha and Maria screamed. "Mario!" Porsha shouted. "How could you? Your own father!" "I've always hated my father!", he sneered. "I've been planning to kill him since I was a boy." Maria was sobbing. "Mario!!!" Porsha screeched. "I'm banishing you! To the underworld! You shall be the devil, you are in charge of everything evil, and you must keep them under control!" Porsha then sent him down to the underworld. Porsha went over to Santiago. She leaned over him, and with her tears, she made the lakes and rivers. She took a knife, and swiftly cut off Santiago's head. She threw it into the sky, and his head became the sun. She scalped him, she took all of Santiago's hair and through it onto the Earth, and it became the grass, and the leaves on the trees. She swiftly cut off all of his limbs, and timed them, so every so often, they would fly over the world. They became meteors and shooting stars. She sucked the breath of life out of him, and blew it into the sky. That became the atmosphere. She scraped off his skin and flew it over the Earth. His skin became the sand. She took what was left of his lifeless body, and flung it up into the sky. The body disintegrated.

She turned to Maria and said, "My daughter. It is up to you to be in charge of the Earth. I expect great things out of you." After she said that she disappeared. Porsha became the moon. Maria looked down over the Earth and muttered the spell of life, and with a wave of her hand, animals came about. Maria decided to make a race of creatures more dominant that the animals. So, with another wave of her hand, humans came to be. And that is how this Earth was created.

Whenever you see a sunset, or sunrise, that's Maria telling you that everything is great, and that she was happy with us. Whenever there is a storm, that's Mario, trying to break free from the underworld. Whenever you see a rainbow, that's Maria, telling you that Mario did not succeed in breaking free. Whenever you see a harvest moon, that's Porsha telling Maria what good she has done with the world. What a great job Porsha and Maria have done...
